Hungary’s 4iG has posted a net profit of HUF3.97 billion (€10.5 million) for 2021.
This, according to documents published on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange, was up from HUF3.16 billion the previous year.
Consolidated sales revenues amounted to HUF93.65 billion (+63%) and EBITDA exceeded HUF12.09 billion (+140%).
In a statement, 4iG says that successful acquisitions and organic growth helped the group become the leading system integration company in Hungary in all areas of IT. It adds that in the telecommunications segment, it has established dominant market positions in Hungary, the CEE region and the Western Balkans. In 2021, the subsidiaries contributed significantly to the consolidated sales revenue of the 4iG Group by approximately HUF21.6 billion and increased their EBITDA by HUF7.5 billion.
Broadband TV News notes that the acquisitions have helped 4iG become the leading provider of both fixed and mobile telecom services in Albania.
