A1 Hrvatska recruits Daniel Simic

April 5, 2022 09.00 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Croatian operator A1 Hrvatska has appointed Daniel Simic its general manager for business users.

He replaces Ivan Gabric, who after four years in the position has decided to continue his career outside the company and embark on new business challenges. Simic, who officially took over the position at the beginning of this month, has over 20 years of experience in the consulting and ICT industry during which he structured and led complex transformation projects in the telecom industry and the public sector in Croatia and the CEE region. He started his career in 1999 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, then continued at Ericsson Nikola Tesla, after which he began his consulting career in the US and UK.

Simic joins the A1 team with extensive experience in digital transformations, business process optimization, ICT solution development and business model innovation with modern technologies with a focus on AI and cloud solutions.

Commenting on the development, Jiri Dvorjancansky, member of the management board and CEO of A1 Hrvatska, said: “Ivan has brought additional dynamics and ideas to our company in order to establish ourselves on the market as a digital company with comprehensive telecommunications, ICT and IoT solutions for business users. We thank him for his exceptional contribution and wish him all the best in his future work and career. I would also like to welcome Daniel Simic, whose rich experience will certainly contribute to our further development as a company focused on the digital transformation of Croatia”.
