DAZN and Telefonica have reached a non-exclusive distribution agreement for LaLiga. DAZN said the deal to allow Movistar Plus customers access to the LaLiga package through their Movistar subscription was part of its “fan-first philosophy”.
DAZN, has been awarded exclusive broadcasting rights for 175 LaLiga matches from 2022/23 to 2026/27. DAZN will be in charge of the production of the five matches shown each week.
The distribution deal follows follows similar agreements with Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom and Swisscom in Germany, TIM in Italy and KDDI in Japan.

Since its launch in Spain, DAZN has built a Spanish offering that includes Copa del Rey, Premier League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, FA Cup, MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3, F1, Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and Matchroom boxing.
