The Russian regulator Roskomnadzor has prohibited the country’s media from publishing an interview with Ukraine’s President Zelensky.
In a statement, it said: “A number of Russian media outlets, including those that are foreign media outlets acting as foreign agents, interviewed President of Ukraine V. Zelensky. Roskomnadzor warns the Russian media to refuse to publish this interview. The interviewed media outlets are subject to scrutiny to determine the extent of responsibility and take action”.
Broadband TV News notes that President Zelensky spoke to Dohzd (‘Rain’) TV, the Meduza portal, Zygar YouTube channel and publications Kommersant and Novaya Gazeta.
Both Dohzd TV and Meduza have been previously been designated ‘foreign agents” by the Russian authorities.
