Orange plans to invest more in Romania in order to maintain its leading position in the mobile market and gain ground in the provision of fixed services.
Speaking in a press conference and quoted by Ziarul Financiar, Liudmila Climoc, CEO of Orange Romania, said that the annual investment in its networks will exceed €200 million, while Noelle Jego Laveissiere, deputy CEO of Orange, responsible for European markets, added that Orange Romania had to continue to invest, push convergent packages and go with quality networks everywhere.
Broadband TV News notes that Orange has also announced the completion of the transition to the Orange brand for its services – the company completed the acquisition of Telekom Romania’s fixed-line business last year – and the launch of its first joint fixed-mobile offer.
The complete offer of fixed-mobile services, Orange and Orange Romania Communications, will be available under the Orange Love umbrella, starting with March 28, at www.orange.ro.
Meanwhile, Telekom Sport channels will become Orange Sport.
