Austrian IPTV service provider Ocilion has set up a free Ukrainian TV channel package for network operators in Germany and Austria for distribution to their customers.
Up to nine channels – depending on availability – are now included in the basic TV package of the IPTV platform. For all channels, up to seven days of replay, nPVR, restart and pause/play apply so that viewers can watch the programmes regardless of time.
The package is freely available for the next six month; changes (removal or addition of channels) are possible at any time.
“In these difficult times, we want to support Ukrainians far from home as much as possible to receive information and programmes from Ukraine in their native language. It is our ambition to offer as many channels as possible and to distribute them free of charge via our numerous customers in Germany and Austria,” said Hans Kühberger, Managing Director of Ocilion. “I would like to express my special thanks to our partners Media Press, IP Broadcast and Mediapool, who have helped us to realise this so quickly.”
The package currently contains the following channels: 1+1 International, DOM HD, Espreso TV, ICTV UA, Inter Plus, Rada TV, UATV, Unian TV and Ukraïna 24 HD.
