Ocilion launches HD package in Germany

March 22, 2022 11.10 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

IPTV service provider Ocilion offers a new HD package to network operators in Germany.

The company signed numerous licence agreements with major broadcasters in the past months. The bouquet comprises 22 free-TV channels including interactive add-on functions such as replay, restart, live pause and nPVR. Restart, pause function and nPVR are available on the RTL channels.

Network operators in Germany can obtain the HD package for distribution immediately. A comparable offer is to follow in Austria in the course of the next few months.

“Thanks to extensive agreements with broadcasting groups RTL, Discovery, Paramount, High View, Fashion TV, Sport1 and Axel Springer, we can put together an attractive HD channel package and offer our customers the best of free-TV. 22 channels in crystal clear HD with many time-shifting features give viewers maximum flexibility to enjoy their favourite programmes,” said Thomas Bichlmeir, Head of Content at Ocilion.

The bouquet contains the following channels: Comedy Central HD, Deluxe Music HD, DMAX HD, Eurosport1 HD, Fashion TV HD, HGTV HD, MTV HD, N24 Doku HD, n-tv HD, Nick HD, Nitro HD, RTL HD, RTLup HD (coming soon), RTLzwei HD, Sport1 HD, Super RTL HD, Tele 5 HD, Toggo Plus HD (coming soon), TLC HD, VOX HD VOXup HD (coming soon) and Welt HD.
