Russia’s NTV-Plus saw OTT subscriber total increase by 2.15 times in 2021.
In a summary of last year, the company says that the figure excludes mobile subscriptions. It adds that the number of DTH subscribers who had the opportunity to watch online content, namely those who used the multiscreen service and opted for the basic package, rose 1.8 times in 2021.
NTV-Plus also says that last it teamed up its digital platform with that of the LitRes group of companies. As a result, NTV-Plus OTT subscribers gained access to around 300,000 electronic and audio books from the LitRes range.
NTV-Plus also made 29 radio stations available on its OTT platform in 2021.
It concludes by saying that in terms of strategic plans it “continues to adhere to the concept of a universal content aggregator”.
