Telenor Montenegro has been rebranded by its Hungarian owner 4iG.
According to 4iG, the action is not due to the company’s change of ownership last December.
Instead, it was because Telenor Norway agreed on the use of the name Telenor until the end of this month, following a one-time extension in the sale of the Podgorica-based mobile operator in 2018.
As part of the brand change, the name of the Montenegrin company will become One Crna Gora Doo, and the operator logo will also change to One from the end of March.
Broadband TV News notes that the operator was owned by the Czech Republic’s PPF Group from 2018 until its sale to 4iG at the end of last year.
