The former chief executive officer of Synamedia is to join software and technology provider Nemetschek SE as its new chairman and CEO.
Padrines, who led Synamedia from the Permira-backed buyout from Cisco’s Service Provider Video Software Solutions business, left the company in October 2020 after two years in charge.
Previously, Padrines was Cisco’s Vice President of Global Service Provider for EMEA, having joined from NDS where he held a number of senior executive and general management roles. His early career was formed in management consulting with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Vivendi as well as with the launch of a web service in the United States, backed by Creative Labs.
