German TV streaming provider waipu.tv is now offering its customers the pay-TV channels of RTL Deutschland.
RTL Crime HD, RTL Passion HD, RTL Living HD and Geo Television HD have been added to the Perfect Plus package, which now contains a total of 183 channels. Subscribers receive the new channels at no extra charge.
The agreement between waipu.tv and RTL also includes on-demand content that is available on Perfect Plus after the TV broadcast. RTL’s free-TV channels have been on board the platform since waipu.tv’s launch.
“The pay-TV channels of RTL Group expand our HD offer to now 160 high-definition channels. This means that we offer more high-quality content than any conventional cable TV service,” said Markus Härtenstein, member of the board of directors of Exaring, the operator of waipu.tv.
