The Spanish public broadcaster RTVE has reached an agreement with Mediapro for the FTA broadcast of the 2022 World Cup, which will take place in Qatar between November 21 and December 18 this year.
RTVE will broadcast all the matches Spain plays, and in addition RTVE will offer viewers the Final, the two semi-finals, two quarter-final matches, four knockout stage games, the opening match and one match from each group in the group stage.
Every day throughout the course of the World Cup, RTVE will broadcast a highlights show featuring all the very best action from each day, complete with a special guest on the ground and focusing especially on all the latest news and updates from the Spanish team.
All other games from the World Cup will be available from a 24-hour channel produced by Mediapro made available to all pay-TV operators.
