Ukraine’s leading cable operator Volia and its parent company Datagroup have decided to advance UAH50 million (€1.52 million) in taxes to support the Ukrainian economy.
Commenting on the move, Datagroup CEO Mykhailo Shelemba said: “The strength of Ukraine and our people in unity. Datagroup and Volia as a responsible Ukrainian business cannot stay away from events and threats around our country. We believe in Ukraine and its future. Our employees and clients also believe in Ukraine, which is why we decided to make an advance payment of UAH50 million in taxes. We hope that our civic position will serve as a good example for other representatives of Ukrainian business”.
