Peter Gregorcic has been appointed the president of the Programme Council at RTV Slovenia.
At the same time, Andrej Prebil will take over the position of deputy. Both were chosen by a large majority and will be in post from 2022-2026.
The Programme Council consists of 29 members and adopts programme standards and concepts in accordance with the RTV Slovenia Act, Media Act and international acts.
According to N1, quoting RTV Slovenia general director Andrej Grah Whatmough, the public broadcaster had 2,139 employees and revenues of €123.5 million in 2021.
The majority of income (€96.1 million) came from the RTV Slovenia contribution and the remainder from commercial activities.
