The Polish public broadcaster’s English language internet international channel TVP World is now available on the IPTV/OTT service Sling TV in the US.
According to TVP, its was unveiled at the 60 million Congress – Global Polonia Summit in Miami on February 12. It adds that “an important goal of TVP World’s presence in the US is also the integration of the Polish community abroad and ensuring the efficient functioning of reliable communication channels between the country and abroad, as well as reaching the largest Polish communities across the Atlantic with information”.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, TVP World was due to make its debut on January 1 this year but this was brought forward to November 18, 2021 in response to the crisis on the Poland/Belarus border.
