Senior Gazprom-Media executive Tina Kandelaki has been appointed acting director of the TV channel TNT.
She replaces Roman Petrenko, who will remain in the structure of the holding and move to the position of adviser. Kadelaki is already deputy general director of Gazprom-Media and MD of Gazprom-Media Entertainment Television.
Commenting on the changes, Alexander Zharov, CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding, said: “The TNT channel faces ambitious tasks both in terms of television broadcasting and in the digital environment. Tinatin Kandelaki has all the competencies and experience to achieve the set goals. Roman Petrenko remains a valuable professional for Gazprom-Media and will help maintain continuity, his experience in managing the channel is invaluable, and a number of shows that he produced have been extended for the next season. Some of them you will see this spring. Therefore, Roman remains within the perimeter of Gazprom-Media and will work both with the channel and with the holding as a whole”.
