The action sports channel Fuel TV has expanded its global distribution and delivery partnership with WURL.
As a result, according to Fernando Figueiredo, CEO of Fuel TV, and Craig Heiting, SVP worldwide business development of WURL, it will soon launch on the streaming services Sports Tribal, Zeasn, LG, Xiaomi, and TCL.
Commenting on the development, Figueiredo said: The new agreement with WURL is part of the brand’s expansion strategy.
“To have WURL deliver the channel to our partners on a global scale while also helping monetise the channel with WURL AdPool is adding a lot of value to Fuel TV’s offering”.
Heiting added: “Fuel TV is a leader in premium action sports content and we are excited to take this strategic partnership to the next level, using WURL Global FAST Pass to deliver Fuel TV in over 50 countries.
“Sports content is extremely popular with streaming viewers universally, and we are delighted to be part of Fuel TV’s continued success in this space”.
Fuel TV can be received in more than 100 countries around the world. With a strong presence on traditional pay-TV platforms, it is also available as a Free Advertising-supported Streaming Television (FAsST) channel in key territories, and as a global premium SVOD service called FUEL TV+.
