United Media has appointed Ivana Galic Baksa its marketing and communications director.
Galic Baksa has 20 years of experience in management positions in marketing and communications. At the Croatian station Nova TV, she led the most successful marketing and communication team in the country’s media industry for six years.
Before joining Nova TV Group, she managed the marketing communications department at Telecom VIPnet (now A1) for almost four years. For five years, she was the head of a marketing agency and before that, she worked in production and brand management at the production company Croatia Film.
Commenting on the appointment, Aleksandra Subotic, CEO of United Media, said: “United Media has become the leader in the media market in Southeast Europe. We are looking forward to Ivana’s contribution to the improvement of positioning and spreading the visibility of the quality content we produce at the group level”.
Galic Baksa added: “For me, this new position is a great honour and a responsibility. I look forward to working with colleague from across the region, sharing knowledge and good experiences. I believe that through joint efforts and hard work, we will achieve remarkable results in all markets”.
United Media is part of United Group and broadcasts more than 45 TV channels throughout South East Europe.
