Elisa ended 2021 with 200,000 subscribers for its cable and FTA TV services in Estonia.
At the same time, its cable internet subscriber total increased by 4% in the year to 105,000 customers, while its annual turnover was up 7.8% to €194 million.
According to Elisa Estonia’s CEO Andrus Hiiepuu, “last year, we took a revolutionary step and significantly expanded the availability of Elisa’s entertainment service and increased the customer’s user experience when we launched the new Elisa Experience. We also launched several new original series, won nine nominations and three awards from the Estonian Film and Television Awards”.
He added: “Starting this year, we are looking forward to the first 5G licenses to be launched in cooperation with Nokia. The new generation of lightning-fast connections will first benefit home and office Internet users the most. We also invest even more vigorously in the production of original content. We will surprise viewers with new genres and TV projects and make a strong contribution to the improvement of the new Elisa Experience service so that the best content can be found in the best environment”.
