Sky Q, Sky X and Sky Ticket customers in Germany and Austria will from today (January 25) have access to Peacock content.
The NBCUniversal steaming service is already available in the UK market where it launched last November. The catalogue includes Peacock Originals and classic series from NBCUniversal.
“After promising debuts in the UK and Ireland late last year, we are excited to expand Peacock’s international reach with its launch on Sky in Germany and Austria,” said Lee Raftery, Managing Director, Europe, Middle East & Africa, NBCUniversal. “Peacock offers Sky customers an expanded catalogue of world-class content from NBCUniversal, including many of our most popular shows as well as exciting brand new Peacock originals.”
“By integrating Peacock on Sky Q and Sky Ticket, we will further expand the strong entertainment offering for all our customers, giving them access to the best content from our partner NBCUniversal. With exclusive Peacock originals, reality and true crime and classic series from the library, we are very excited to offer Peacock to all our Sky Q and Sky Ticket customers,” adds Elke Walthelm, Executive Vice President Content at Sky Deutschland.
The line-up reflects what’s already available in the UK including Saved by the Bell, Rutherford Falls and Girls5eva plus Downton Abbe, Rutherford Falls and Heroes.
Later, Peacock will be launched on Sky platforms in Switzerland and Italy, making it available to almost 20 million Sky customers in total.
