Ivan Zima has been appointed VP for digital regions at the Russian incumbent Rostelecom.
In his new role, reporting directly to the president, he will lead the company’s applied projects and be responsible for regional digitalisation.
Zima began his career at Rostelecom in 1998 as a branch lead engineer and worked his way up to senior VP for communications network development. Since 2019 he has served as VP and director of the Volga macro-regional branch.
In his new role he replaces Igor Zimin, who has left the company.
