Zohar Weitz is the new VP for Vodafone’s non-corporate customers in the Czech Republic.
She replaces Quique Vivas, who has resigned after three years in the role and is moving to Greece within the group.
Quique played a key role in merging Vodafone with UPC. He also led a number of key campaigns, including the launch of Unlimited Data and Vodafone TV.
Weitz joined Vodafone in 2012 and most recently served as sales director for the European market, including Turkey and Egypt. Prior to that, she worked for 14 years in Israel for a number of organisations and companies in the telecommunications sector.
In her new role she will be responsible for the sale of services to non-corporate customers, namely all those who have their contracts and services at Vodafone kept at their personal identification number or have prepaid cards. she will lead a team of almost 500 people who take care of customers in stores, for example, including the entire Vodafone marketing, a team of people who prepare advertising campaigns not only for television but also Vodafone TV, digital channels, websites and e-shops.
Commenting on her appointment, Weitz said: “In my previous role at Vodafone, I was in contact with the Czech Republic, so I could get to know some colleagues, but also the local culture.
