M7 Deutschland expands Turkish TV portfolio

January 12, 2022 11.32 Europe/London By Broadband TV News Correspondent

M7 Deutschland has secured a comprehensive TV distribution portfolio of Turkish-language channels.

The line-up includes well-known services such as TRT Turk, TGRT EU, Euro D, A Haber, CNN Turk and Kanal Avrupa, which platform operators can now offer to their customers via cable, IPTV and OTT. Viewers can also use interactive features, such as pausing, time-shifting and recording the current programme.

“A strong foreign language offering is a clear competitive advantage for network operators. We are pleased to provide even more diversity on screens with more than 30 Turkish channels and to help our partners strengthen their customer loyalty as well as expand their market position,” said Marco Hellberg, Managing Director of Eviso Germany GmbH, the M7 Business Partner in Germany.

M7 Deutschland distributes the channels as exclusive content supplier and distributor as part of a cooperation with distribution service provider Stratton & Haggle.

The portfolio comprises the following channels: ATV Avrupa, Euro Star, Euro D, TRT Turk, CNN Turk, TGRT EU, TRT Haber, TGRT Haber, A Haber, Tele 1, TRT Spor, TRT Spor 2, A Spor, TRT Belgesel, TGRT Belgesel, TRT Çocuk, TRT 2, Power Turk, Power TV, TRT Müzik, Dream Turk, Kral TV, A2, 360 TV, TV 4, 24 TV, A News, TRT World, TRT Arabic, TRT Kurdi, TV5 and Kanal Avrupa.

Euro D will be added on July 1, 2022. Also part of the line-up are the radio stations Alem FM and Lig Radyo.
