120 films will be available in the Ultra HD 4K format when Sky Cinema 4K launches on January 28.
Unlike its UK counterpart, which has so far relied on side channels and on demand for its 4K service, Sky Italia is launching a dedicated channel. It will be available at no additional cost to all Sky Cinema customers with Sky Q via satellite and with optional HD or Ultra HD service.
There are currently 11 other channels in the Sky Cinema package.
Launch titles include Fast & Furious 9, The Amazing Spider-Man, Men In Black and Ghostbusters.
