Netia unveils new 4K set-top box

January 11, 2022 10.26 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Polish alternative telco Netia has introduced a new offer based on fibre-optic technology and featuring internet, TV and the new EvoBox 4K receiver.

It includes internet access of up to 300 Mbps, a package of 99 TV channels and the set-top box for free for three months, followed by PLN65 (€14.3) a month.

According to Tomasz Dakowski, B2C area general director, member of Netia’s management board, said: “Our new offer provides the best price-quality ratio and programming content on the Polish market. At a price where others offer regular internet access, Netia provides not only excellent quality access in fibre optic technologies, but also TV services with a fast, modern 4K set-top box.

“Moreover, when using Netia’s offer, you do not have to worry about the potential loss of digital terrestrial TV signal and spend money on a new TV set or DVB-T2 / HEVC set-top box. In Netia, you can get a package with 77 channels and an HD set-top box for the price of internet access only”.

Netia notes that the strength of its offer is also very rich and reasonably priced premium content packages (eg HBO, Canal +, Polsat Sport Premium), which customers can flexibly adapt to their own needs, even when using the cheapest, basic TV packages. Sports fans will be especially interested in the promotion of the sports package, which consists of four Eleven Sports channels (including Eleven Sports 1 4K) and Polsat Sport Premium (2 channels and 4 PPV services) for PLN20 per month.
