Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (TBRC) Ukraine, which is part of media holding Media Group Ukraine (MGU), has signed a three-year contract deal with NBCUniversal Global Distribution for exclusive rights to broadcast its content in the country.
Through the deal, iconic movies and TV series will be broadcast on the channels Ukraine, NLO TV and Indigo TV.
Commenting on the development, Iryna Chernyak, director of acquisitions of TRBC Ukraine, said: “This agreement between NBCUniversal and our media holding symbolically ushers in 2022. This is a part of MGU’s consistent strategy on strengthening Ukraine, NLO and Indigo’s product range with the highest-rated films and TV series that are loved by million”.
The rights for the package acquired from NBCUniversal Global Distribution commenced on December 15.
