Mikhail Demin has been appointed director of paid channels development at Gazprom-Media Holding.
In his new role he will be responsible for the development of pay-TV broadcasting, the strategic development and operational management of the operator NTV-Plus and Red Media, one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of paid thematic channels in Russia.
Demin has been working in the field of media and telecommunications for many years. Prior to joining Gazprom-Media, he was responsible for the communications and public relations unit at Aeroflot,and headed the press operations function at the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee.
Previously, he worked at Mobile TeleSystems, was general director of NTV-Plus and took part in the creation of the Match TV channel. He was also president of the Media Communication Union for three years.
