The Slovak news-based station TA3 has been sold by Grafobal Group to Prague-based Blueberg Media for an undisclosed fee.
The transaction was approved by the Slovak Broadcasting and Retransmission Council (RVR) at a meeting on Wednesday, December 22.
According to Digizone, Grabofal Group is owned by Ivan Kmotrik, while the Czech entrepreneur Michal Voracek is behind Blueberg Media. The latter has interests in media and real estate, with one being the Praha TV station.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, TA3 celebrated its 20th anniversary and became a 24-hour service this autumn.
