Gergely Benda has been appointed the MD of Antenna Entertainment, which is responsible for Antenna Group’s CEE TV business in 12 countries in the region.
Benda began his career at EMI Music in 2000 and has since held several positions including country manager at HBO in Hungary between July 2012 and January 2016 and VP of marketing Central Europe at HBO Europe between January 2016 and December 2017.
Most recently, he was the founder and CEO at Neopay Kft.
Broadband TV News notes that this October Antenna Group agreed with Sony Pictures Television to buy the CEE AXN, Sony and Viasat pay-TV channels and on demand services as part of a major investment in the CEE region.
