Russia’s Gazprom-Media has appointed Ivan Kim to the position of director of the communications directorate.
In this role, he will be responsible for developing and implementing a public relations and marketing strategy, building effective external communications and representing the interests of the holding in the business environment.
Prior to joining Gazprom-Media, Kim held various management positions in the telecoms industry and worked for Russian and international PR agencies. In 2014, he founded the Agency for Political and Business Communications, specialising in the implementation of complex projects in the field of GR and PR.
Commenting on the appointment, Gazprom-Media general director Alexander Zharov said: “Ivan Kim has extensive experience in the field of public relations, has many successfully implemented federal projects. I am glad to welcome Ivan to our team. I am sure that this appointment will help build and implement an effective system of external communications, expand the information presence on the agenda of leading media and strengthen the holding’s image as a leading media player”.
