4iG has raised HUF291.4 billion (€790 million) in a Bond Funding for Growth Scheme (BGS) issue.
According to BBJ, quoting MTI, it had offered HUF350 billion of the 10-year binds and bids reached HUF297.8 billion. It adds that 4iG initially announced plans for the issue last month following its agreement to acquire Digi’s assets in Hungary for €625 million.
Broadband TV News notes that 4iG is becoming an increasingly important player in the electronic communications sector both inside and outside Hungary.
Aside from Digi Hungary, it has this year also secured a controlling stake in Israel’s Spacecom and acquired the leading Albanian telco ALBtelecom.
