The number of FTTH lines in Spain exceeded 12.5 million in October.
According to regulator CNMC, the number grew by 102,256 during the month and Telefónica’s Movistar remained the market leader accounting for a total of 4.8 million lines.
All told, the three leading providers – Movistar, Orange (including Jazztel) and Vodafone (including Ono) accounting for 79.4% of lines.
CNMC notes that the number of FTTH lines in October was 1.2 million higher than in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the number of DSL lines fell by 0.6 million over the same period.
