The winners of the HbbTV Awards 2021 have been announced in a ceremony in Paris.
Presented by the HbbTV Association, which promotes open standards for advanced interactive TV services through broadcast and broadband networks, the awards celebrate excellence in the HbbTV community.
“Congratulations to the winners of the HbbTV Awards 2021! We are impressed by the participants’ amazing, both mature and innovative, future-oriented applications, services and contributions, reflecting the important role of the HbbTV specifications in creating a compelling viewing experience across all platforms,” said Vincent Grivet, Chairman of the HbbTV Association.
The winners were selected by an independent jury of international industry experts. A total of 27 submissions from 9 countries were received during the call for entries.
The prizes were presented as part of the 9th HbbTV Symposium and Awards in Paris, co-hosted by the HbbTV Association and French streaming platform Salto.
