ODMedia partners with M7 Group

November 23, 2021 10.41 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

ODMedia has signed an agreement with the European pay-TV provider M7 Group to provide technical services for a wide range of films and TV series from several content owners.

These include StudioCanal, Dutch Core and VRT for M7 Group’s VOD offering.
Commenting on the development, Sjef Pijnenburg, CEO of ODMedia, said: “We are very proud of this contract. ODMedia has expanded its collaboration with M7 Group to provide them with our reputable high quality technical services. This agreement further expands our company into servicing multinational operators such as M7, and we could not be more thrilled”.

Established in 2004 by Pijnenburg, ODMedia has strategic partnerships with all the global OTT platforms and has offices in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Benelux, South Africa, Scandinavia, the MENA region and recently announced Australia. In addition to offering the full range of technical-delivery services, it acts as an aggregator for major platforms, providing digital-rights management, monetisation, target audience development, and cross-promotion. It also manages linear and non-linear channel playout for SVOD, AVOD, and TVOD.

Meanwhile, M7 Group is a brand of Canal+ Luxembourg S. à r.l., a Canal+ Group company. It uses different brands in different countries: Skylink and freeSAT in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Canal Digitaal in the Netherlands, TV Vlaanderen and TeleSat in Belgium, HD Austria in Austria, Direct One in Hungary and Focus Sat in Romania.

It provides more than 3 million subscribers with hundreds of satellite and IP-based radio and television services in digital and HD quality. Since 2011, it has also provided broadband and telephony services to its customers in the Netherlands and Belgium.
