XroadMedia inks Russian OTT deal

Russia’s M3, with is part of National Media Group (NMG), has selected XroadMedia to enable advanced content discovery, recommendations and personalisation in its more.tv OTT service.

Available either as a subscription or advertising-based service, more.tv offers a broad selection of unique original series, exclusive international premieres, catch-up episodes and shows from popular Russian TV channels and live sports events.

As a result of the partnership, users of M3’s OTT service more.tv are experiencing easier ways of consuming content. XroadMedia’s Ncanto solution delivers highly relevant content to users based on their watching behaviour, interests and preferences. Piloto, XroadMedia’s advanced management tool and user-friendly GUI offers M3’s operational team to make changes in the content delivery to users quickly and easily. M3 is also using XroadMedia’s business intelligence tool, Yaveo, to monitor and analyse all important business KPIs in real-time.

Commenting on the development, Sergey Bakaev, product manager at M3, responsible for the implementation and application of XroadMedia’s solution, said: “Owning a large library of video content, we were looking for a solution that could help us to offer intelligent recommendations and personalisation for our users.
