Ocilion expands its TV line-up for network operators in German-speaking Europe with entertainment channel Tele 5 HD from Discovery Group and lifestyle and fashion channel FashionTV, which is offered in HD and UHD picture quality.
The linear TV channels are accompanied by interactive add-on services which the network operators can make available to viewers. These include 7-day replay, restart, recordings (nPVR) and a pause/play function.
“Our goal is to provide our customers with comprehensive content in addition to the end-to-end IPTV system. Therefore, we continue to expand the content offer for network operators and conclude direct contracts with content providers which include all time-shifted functions,” said Thomas Bichlmeir, Head of Content at Ocilion.
“I am all the more pleased that we have now been able to expand our existing agreement with Discovery and, with FashionTV, have gained a completely new content category, even in UHD, for our IPTV platform,” he added.
