United Group is close to making another important acquisition in Bulgaria.
Quoting a statement to the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), Capital reports that the technology company Telelink Business Services Group (TBS Group), which is listed on the BSE, has received a non-binding offer from United Group through its Luxembourg-listed subsidiary Slovenia Broadband.
It adds that the offer is for at least 51% of TSB Group, whose customers include the incumbent Vivacom (BTC), owned by United Group.
Just last week TSB Group’s main owner Lyubomir Minchev (67%) and two smaller shareholders (Ivo Evgeniev and Spas Shopov, with 4% each) indicated that you would be willing to sell a majority stake in the company at the beginning of 2022.
The sale will help the company in its international expansion plans.
United Group has used Slovenia Broadband to undertake most of its acquisitions in Bulgaria to date.
