Cloud-based SaaS technology specialist Amagi is working with Xiaomi, to manage and monetise their linear TV and video-on-demand offerings to their mobile and connected TV consumers
The consumer electronics and smart device manufacturing company has also established a consumer internet of things platform that already has 374 million smart devices connected.
Amagi has been selected by Xiaomi as its partner for linear TV and video-on-demand distribution. It will use Amagi’s Content Plus to manage its VOD assets, Thunderstorm for ad insertion and Ads Plus, a virtual ad sales solution.
