Sky Deutschland will launch the new Sky Q basic package Sky Ultimate TV in Germany and Austria on November 9, 2021.
Netflix will be an integral part of the offer, which will replace current basic packages Entertainment Plus and Entertainment after a transition period.
Sky Ultimate TV will include full access to the basic Netflix subscription as well as 27 Sky pay-TV channels for €20 per month. An upgrade to Netflix Standard or Premium is possible at any time. Customers can also sign up for additional Sky packages, such as movies or sports.
The contract period is 12 months, after which it can be cancelled monthly. The prerequisite for using Sky Ultimate TV is a Sky Q receiver.
Sky customers with an existing Netflix subscription can connect their account to Sky Ultimate TV and thus continue to use their Netflix profile. Sky Ultimate TV customers can also use Netflix on all standard Netflix-supported devices.
