
Orange ended the third quarter with 7,856,000 subscribers to IPTV and satellite services in its home market France.
This, according to the company in its latest set of results, was up from 7,484,000 a year earlier but lower than the 7,964,000 three months earlier.
Meanwhile in Spain, its IPTV and satellite access total stood at 693,000, up from 716,000 in the same period last year but down from the 681,000 posted three months earlier. A similar pattern was seen in Poland, where the numbers stood at 1,008,000 in Q3, 1,001,000 last year and 1,018,000 in Q2 this year.
However, in Belgium and Luxembourg there was steady growth over the year, with the total number of IPTV and satellite subscribers at 280,000 in Q3, up from 253,000 a year earlier and 274,000 in Q2.
In Central Europe (Romania, Slovakia and Moldova) the total number of IPTV and cable subscribers stood at 731,000 as of Q3. This was down from 736,000 a year earlier and 733,000 in Q2 this year.
