Nominees announced for HbbTV Awards 2021

The shortlist has been announced for the HbbTV Awards 2021 with nods for Bayerische Medien, Digital UK, Synapse TV and Zattoo.

“We are excited about the large number of high-profile entries for this year’s HbbTV Awards, reflecting the great variety of applications and services enabled by the HbbTV specifications and the important role of the standard for major players in the global TV and OTT market,” said Vincent Grivet, Chairman of the HbbTV Association.

The shortlist will now go before the HbbTV Association’s expert jury.

The Awards take place on November 24, 2021 as part of the 9th HbbTV Symposium and Awards, taking place as an in-person event on November 24-25 in Paris, France.
