United Group’s Nova has introduced the Eon TV platform in Greece.
As a result, it is now available across a market of more than 40 million in Southeast Europe, covering all the countries where United Group is active. Eon is also available globally through Eon International.
Android-based Eon was built in-house by United Cloud, United Group’s innovation centre, and allows users to view all content available anywhere, anytime, on any device. In Greece, it includes nine exclusive Nova Sports channels and the latest movies, both live and on demand, thanks to Nova’s exclusive deals with four of the leading Hollywood studios – Universal, Sony Pictures, MGM, and Warner Bros. – more than any other platform in Greece. Its VOD library offers more than 2,300 titles, over 300 movie premieres per year and a catalogue of more than 500 recent blockbusters.
Meanwhile, Eon’s functionalities include 7-day catch-up for most channels, multiscreen, voice search, personalisation, a kids’ space and parental control features.
