yallo launches own TV offer with Android TV box

October 19, 2021 12.01 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Sunrise UPC’s yallo brand has taken the next step towards becoming a full-service provider.

The new yallo TV offer features more than 270 channels, 7 days of catch-up, live pause and a library of 1,000 programmes.

The Android-powered TV Box is available free of charge, bundled with yallo Home Fiber and yallo Home 5G.

“We are impressing more and more customers with innovative and powerful products and want to continue growing. Following the addition of fibre optics to our mobile portfolio offer, we are now taking another step towards becoming a full-service provider with yallo TV,” said Christoph Richartz, Chief YOL Officer, Sunrise UPC.

The product was developed by the team at Wilmaa, the OTT provider, acquired by Sunrise in 2020. In addition to the TV Box, yallo TV is also available on the web and through apps for iOS and Android. An Apple TV app is slated for release in Spring 2022.
