Tele2 saw its digital TV subscriber in Sweden total fall by 6% in the year to September 30.
According to the latest figures published by the company, it stood at 936,000 at the end of Q3, compared to 992,000 a year earlier.
While the cable and fibre total fell by 3% to 641,000, the DTT figure fell by a sharper 10% to 295,000. Meanwhile Tele2’s RGU total in Sweden was 2% lower at 5,025,000.
Digital TV revenues in Sweden in Q3 were SEK687 million (€68.48 million), down 2% on the same period last year.
Tele2 end user services revenues in Q3 amounted to SEK4,900 million, a 2% increase on a year earlier. Its total revenues were also 2% up at SEK6,639 million.
Underlying EBITDAaL was SEK 2,581 million (+5%) and net profit SEK1,121 million, compared to SEK1,215 million.
