HBO Max will launch on the Telia network on 26 October, the telco has confirmed.
The streaming service is bringing together content from Warner Bros, HBO, DC Comics, and Cartoon Network, plus Max Originals in a series of international launches.
In Sweden, and the rest of the Nordic region, HBO Max will replace HBO Nordic in what for Telia has been a ten-year partnership.

Now family and friends can gather in front of their screens and enjoy a full slate of premium content, which is especially great now that the autumn darkness is setting in,” says Henrik Lönnevi, Head of Consumer Business at Telia.
In addition to US created content, HBO Max will also has locally originated Max Originals includingKamikaze (Denmark) and Beforeigners season 2 (Norway).
Warner Bros. blockbusters will be available on HBO Max as early as 45 days after their Swedish theatrical release. Some films that Telia TV viewers can look forward to are Dune and The Suicide Squad.
