The Polish public broadcaster TVP is preparing to add at least two more channels to its growing portfolio.
According to Wirtualne Media, one is likely to be a lifestyle channel named TV Relaks, which could replace TVP HD.
The latter has been on air since 2008 but is effectively a repeat channel, given that HD is now the standard.
Meanwhile, press.pl> reports that the English language channel TVP World, originally expected to launch this month, is now likely to make its debut on January 1 next year.
The channel will replace Poland In, an internet service launched in 2018, and talks on its distribution are still ongoing with operators in the US.
In Europe it will be distributed principally via satellite and by hotel chains.
