Tim Pearson has resigned as manager of Sky’s sales house Sky Media after just nine months in the role, advertising journal Campaign reports.
Pearson joined in January after 20 years at Manning Gottlieb OMD and Omincom, which acquired the group in 2019.
He had responsibility for leading Sky Media’s UK operations, as well as Sky’s European agency relationships, reporting to Sky UK & Europe Chief Business Officer, Patrick Béhar.
At the same time, Ruth Cartwright also joined from Dentsu Aegis as Director of Investment for Sky Media UK, succeeding long-standing Sky Media Director, Duncan Wynn.
John Litster, who had previously been manager, was slated to remain at Sky until the end of the year with a brief to leverage the group’s scale across the continent to better serve its clients and partners.
