The final of one of E4’s most popular shows was postponed last night as the technical problems that have plagued Channel 4 since last weekend continued.
Married at First Sight UK has been a ratings winner, buoyed by the popularity of its Australian sister show during lockdown. Instead of the final viewers were shown a repeat with the final promised for this evening (Friday).
We’re aware it’s yesterday’s episode of #MAFSUK playing out this evening and apologise. It’s all down to our ongoing tech issues which we’re working hard on. We’ll update here as soon as we know more and when you’ll be able to see the final episode of MAFS UK.

While BBC, Channel 5 and S4C are now fully operational, Channel 4 hasn’t been so lucky. Purple streaks were seen across the screen during a re-run of Frazier this morning. Subtitles have also been absent.
Our teams are working day and night with our customers and partners to resolve the issues caused by the incident in our West London Broadcast Centre on Saturday evening. (1/3)

Red Bee, which is responsible for the playout of the UK public broadcaster and its digital channels, said its teams were “working day and night” to resolve the problems. While Red Bee says investigations into the cause of the outage were ongoing, one theory is a fire suppression system sucked all of the oxygen out of the system, causing a “sonic wave” that shut down servers.
