Setanta Sports has secured an exclusive three-year rights extension in Ukraine with the Premier League to broadcast all 380 games per season from 2022/23 through to 2024/25.
As a result, viewers will be able to watch all the games across Setanta Sports linear TV and digital platforms for the next three seasons.
Commenting on the extension, Dwyer McCaughley, CEO of Setanta Sports, said: “We are delighted that we will continue to be the only place in Ukraine to watch the Premier League for the remainder of the current season and for a further three seasons through to 2024/25. The Premier League has always had a huge following throughout Ukraine and more so recently with two of their national players, Zinchenko and Yarmolenko, playing regularly for Manchester City and West Ham respectively. We look forward to continuing to show this fantastic product with great Ukrainian commentary for the forthcoming seasons”.
Paul Molnar, chief media officer at the Premier League, added: “The Premier League is delighted to build on our long-term partnership with Setanta Sports in announcing an agreement in Ukraine for a further three seasons. Setanta Sports delivers excellent coverage of the Premier League and fans in Ukraine can look forward to more live matches than ever before and a commitment to broadcasting with Ukrainian commentary”.
