United Group’s Nova makes key appointments

United Group’s Greek operator Nova has made a series of appointments to strengthen its management team and lead key functions amid the company’s ongoing transformation.

They include a new head of Nova Media, a CCO, a business commercial director, and executives to lead functions including marketing, human resources and legal.

Commenting on the development, Nova CEO Panayotis Georgiopoulos said: “I’m thrilled to welcome these talented and experienced professionals who have come to join us in the great work that we are doing to delight and serve Greek consumers.

“With a new visual identity, a major investment programme, and so much more, it’s an exciting time to be part of Nova. We’re transforming the company and creating not only additional value for our customers, but also opportunities for our people”.
The appointments are as follows:

Kiki Silvestriadou has been appointed CEO of Nova Media. A veteran of the broadcasting industry with two decades of experience, Silvestriadou joins from Open TV where she held roles including MD and COO. Additionally, Silvestriadou served as an executive at Mega TV.

Alexandros Ntavos joins Nova as chief commercial officer. His experience includes commercial roles in multinationals in both the telecommunications and consumer products industries, including OTE Group, FrieslandCampina, and Schwarzkopf-Henkel. Ntavos is returning to Nova after previous experience in the company.

Maria Stergiou has been appointed business commercial director. Stergiou joins from gaming solutions company Intralot where she served in roles including senior VP group chief sales & operations officer, global operations director, and group PMO director.

Georgios Zarogiannis has been appointed marketing director. With 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, Zarogiannis joins from Vikos SA, where he was director of communications. He has also held the role of CEO at Soho Square Athens advertising agency as well as general manager at Ogilvy Albania.

Stavroula Kavoura has been appointed human resources director. Kavoura has 20 years of experience in HR roles in the telecommunications industry. She joins from Victus Networks, where she served as HR director and, before that, worked for Vodafone.

Katerina Maniadaki has been appointed legal & regulatory director. Maniadaki joins from the UK communications regulator Office of Communications (Ofcom) where she was principal legal advisor. In the past she worked for DG Connect-Market Reviews Unit at the European Commission, as well as for the Institute for Information Law, University of Amsterdam.
